This is the methodology I use to look for and trade only high probability trades
STEP 1
First, I analyze the market to define which currency pairs to trade and what direction to trade them.
This is a simple analysis I perform in the morning before taking any trade.
The main goal of this analysis is to make sure I trade only the currency pairs that have the clearest market conditions, and the highest probabilities of moving on one direction over the other.
STEP 2
Once I’ve selected the currency pairs to trade, I switch over to the short term charts and define possible entry levels.
I make sure the short term charts are in line with the longer term charts.
The idea about doing both a short term and a long term analysis is to filter out the bad trades from the good ones and have a higher chance of success on each trade.
STEP 3
Once I take my trade, I follow strict rules of risk and trade management such as:
- Pyramid in
- Scale in & out
- Trailing stop
- Partial profits
The goal of this phase is to win more when the market moves on my favor and to jump out early of losing positions.
